What Triform can do with Facebook Events
Triform agents can read and write any field your API access allows, meaning you can move from "manual updates" to "codified workflows" that always run the same way.
Event Creation
- Create events with full details (title, description, time).
- Upload cover images and set visibility.
- Add ticket links and co-hosts.
Scheduled Publishing
- Queue events to go live at specific times.
- Coordinate with Nortic and Spotify launches.
- Never miss a publish date again.
Page Management
- Publish events to your venue's Facebook Page.
- Manage multiple pages from one flow.
- Keep event calendars synchronized.

Real-world examples of how teams use Triform + Facebook Events
How Triform connects
Provide Facebook Access
Share your Facebook Page login credentials and 2FA setup. We use stored cookies for semi-persistent sessions.
Configure Scheduling
We set up Posthook to trigger event creation at your desired publish times.
Map Your Event Data
We configure Triform to read from your spreadsheet and map columns to Facebook event fields.
Who uses Triform with Facebook Events
This integration is for venues, promoters, and marketers who need Facebook events created automatically from their event calendar.

Why is this integration complex?
No Native Scheduling API
Facebook doesn't allow third-party event scheduling via API. We use Posthook to queue a publish request and trigger Triform at the exact scheduled moment.
Two-Factor Authentication
Facebook requires 2FA for most accounts. Triform uses stored cookies for semi-login and falls back to TOTP (Time-based One-Time Password) when full re-authentication is needed.
Browser Automation Required
We use Playwright with Hyper Browser (Browser-as-a-Service) to interact with Facebook's web interface, since the Graph API has limited event creation capabilities.
Session Persistence
By storing valid cookies between runs, we can often skip the full login flow — reducing the chance of security prompts and making the automation faster.
FAQ
Why can't you just use Facebook's API?
The Facebook Graph API has very limited support for creating events, and no support for scheduling when they go live. We use browser automation to access the full functionality available in the web interface.
How do you handle Facebook's two-factor authentication?
We use a two-pronged approach: stored cookies from previous sessions allow us to 'semi-login' without 2FA most of the time. When full re-auth is needed, we use TOTP (authenticator app codes) which Triform can generate automatically.
What is Posthook and why do you use it?
Posthook is a scheduling service that triggers webhooks at specific times. Since Facebook doesn't support native event scheduling, we use Posthook to trigger the Triform event-creation workflow at exactly the right moment.
Can I also publish to Nortic and Spotify?
Yes! Most venues use Triform to publish to all three platforms from a single spreadsheet. See the Event Publishing Automation use case for the full picture.
Is this safe for my Facebook account?
Yes. We use production-grade browser sessions with fingerprint management to avoid triggering security alerts. The automation behaves like a normal user, just faster and more consistent.
