Why is this integration complex?

No Official API

Bandsintown/Spotify for Artists doesn't offer a public API for event creation. We use browser automation to interact with their platform.

Two-Factor Authentication

Bandsintown requires 2FA. Triform uses Hyper Browser (Browser-as-a-Service) plus MailSlurp to extract OTP codes from forwarded emails automatically.

Session Management

We maintain stable browser sessions with fingerprinting to avoid repeated logins and reduce the chance of being blocked.

Reverse Engineering

Our team analyzed network requests to understand exactly how events are created, so we can replicate the process reliably.

FAQ

Why can't you just use an API?

Bandsintown doesn't provide a public API for creating events. We use secure browser automation (Playwright + Hyper Browser) to interact with their web interface directly.

How do you handle the two-factor authentication?

You forward 2FA emails to a dedicated inbox. Triform uses MailSlurp and regex to extract the OTP code automatically and enter it during login.

Is this safe and reliable?

Yes. We use production-grade browser sessions with fingerprint management. The flow logs every step, so you can see exactly what happened and fix any issues quickly.

Can I also publish to Facebook and Nortic?

Absolutely. Most venues use Triform to publish to all three platforms from a single spreadsheet. See the Event Publishing Automation use case for the full picture.
